Purchasing and Shipping

I really want you to be happy with your new purchase and to have every confidence in becoming a collector of my art. Please contact me if you have any personal needs or questions that I can help you with.

I have made every attempt to accurately describe the size and materials of each piece of artwork, as well as reflect the true colors. However the image you see online may show a slight difference in color due to variations between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not constitute a valid reason for return.

PURCHASES

What are your payment options?

 Payments are processed through Squarespace which accepts debit and credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, UnionPay, and Cartes Bancaires as well as Afterpay and Apple Pay. We also accept PayPal, which can be used for  one time purchases without and account, please see www.paypal.com. 

By submitting your payment information on the checkout page, you are submitting accurate and timely updates to correct any payment failures. If a payment is rejected or denied, this constitutes a forfeiture of the agreement and the painting will not be held in wait for the corrected payment. If this happens and you are wanting to still purchase the piece please email us right away and we will see what we can do. 

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. As well as to correct any errors of pricing by writing you and informing you that there was an error. You will then have the opportunity to continue with your purchase or forfeit your purchase. We will not honor an error in price as the new price.

CURRENCY/TAXES/DUTIES

All payments are processed in US Dollars. All orders in California will have sales tax added at checkout. 

Any and all Customs, import Duties (taxes) are the responsibility of the consumer as per the country designation and its laws. These fees will not be paid by the artist, Tanya Alison.

Shipping

How long will it take to receive my purchase(s)?

Once your order is processed it will take 5 business days to pack and deliver to the shipping company. Within the US, items will ship though USPS, DHL, UPS, or FedX. Fees will be shown at checkout and are due prior to shipment.

International orders will be packed and shipped within 5  days as well, however the time of transit will be dependent on the designated country and any country-specific issues that may be prevalent at the time.

Can I pick-up locally?

Yes, I am located in Northern California, on the coast about 2 hours south from the Oregon border. You are welcome to pick up your piece(s) from me at my studio. Simply contact me with any questions and to discuss further.

What about large/high value paintings?

These items will need to be quoted individually as different couriers will have different size limitations and locations of delivery that will need to be addressed on an individual basis. This will be noted in the SHOP page. Please contact me PRIOR to purchase and I will give you the options and allow you to choose what feels right for you. If you purchase prior to arranging the shipping, that will be billed separately after your online transaction. 

All shipping fees will be due and payable before an item is shipped.

Gift orders / gift cards

If you wish to place an order as a gift, please indicate so at checkout. If you don’t see a  space to do so, please email me: tanya@tanyaalison.com and I will make every effort to accommodate your request.

** The gift will be gift wrapped and include a card (and not the price).

If you’d like to let the recipient choose their own piece, please select a Gift Card amount in the Shop. If you provide an address I can send a personal card to accompany your Gift Card purchase (which will be a Code emailed to you or recipient)

Damages

What do I do if the item arrives damaged?

I always pack my shipments with attention to detail as I don’t want anything to happen to your precious purchase! (Not to mention to the hours and hours of love I put into each of my paintings!)

But if the dreaded damage does happen: Please send me a photograph ASAP and get in contact with the courier/ delivery company as they will likely be responsible for covering the loss.

Returns

REFUNDS AND RETURN POLICY

I want you to love your painting, so if for some reason it doesn’t fit your aesthetic, you must contact me within 14 days letting me know. You will be required to re-package and ship it, at your expense and with the original courier, back to me. After I receive the undamaged and unaltered painting, I will refund you within 14 days. PLEASE NOTE: The amount refunded will be the amount paid, less the processing fees and any shipping fees.

I cannot offer returns on international purchases at this time.
